The MMA is the Government’s agent for the issuance and management of Government Treasury Bills. The terms and conditions for the issuance of these securities and the operation of other instruments used in the conduct of monetary policy are contained in the MMA’s Market Operations Manual.

The MMA is also the registrar for all securities issued and it operates an electronic book-entry system (BES) for this purpose. The rules governing the operation of the BES are contained in Section 5 of the MMA Market Operations Manual.

One month Treasury Bill rate as of 23rd July 2007 is 6%

 

Three months Treasury Bill rate as of 23rd July 2007 is 6.25%

 

The MMA Repurchase Facility Rate as of 23rd July 2007 is 13%.
